In the soft light of a mid-March morning, Mt. Fuji stood tall and serene, its snow-capped peak glowing above the misty waters of Kawaguchiko Lake. It was the perfect backdrop for a couple who had always dreamed of a Mt. Fuji Elopement with family and friends, celebrating their love surrounded by the people who mattered most and the beauty of Japan’s natural landscape.
Getting Ready with Their Closest Friends
The day began quietly in a cozy Airbnb near the lake. The bride spent her morning laughing and drinking with her closest girlfriends, while the groom got ready with his longtime buddies, a mix of calm nerves and shared excitement in the air. Getting ready separately gave the moment a sacred pause—before their paths would cross with Mt. Fuji watching.
A Heartfelt Ceremony Overlooking Mount Fuji
They arrived at Kawaguchiko Lake separately, where their ceremony took place with a clear view of Mt. Fuji reflecting on the still water. Their vows, spoken in their native language, felt even more meaningful against the quiet power of the landscape.
After their heartfelt ceremony, the couple and their guests toasted with mimosas—champagne and fresh orange juice—in celebration. They shared cake, laughter, and joyful moments by the lakeside before heading to nearby Saiko Lake for a photo session.
The Fuji Five Lakes region offers more than just scenic beauty—it carries a deep, peaceful atmosphere that feels timeless. And being only a couple of hours from Tokyo, it’s incredibly accessible.
Another couple we worked with took a completely different approach—they got married on a small boat drifting across the lake for their Mt. Fuji elopement, with that breathtaking view right behind them. It was one of those perfect days when everything just lines up, and it made for such a peaceful and unforgettable way to celebrate.

An album design credit is included and applied toward a custom-designed wedding album. The design process is handled in-house, with thoughtful pacing and layout, and priority given to Signature and Multi-Day couples. Coverage focused on real moments, atmosphere, and how the day feels — not staged performance or forced timelines. Our couples are real people like you and we know how to help you feel comfortable and look natural on camera without posing or pressure.
Hair & makeup, kimono support, officiant services, and cultural elements are coordinated through a trusted core team and long-standing partners, with broader coordination across styling, guest needs, and experience-related services — with services added as needed, and everything managed calmly behind the scenes.
We guide you through what’s possible in Japan, what actually works well, and what fits your priorities — including handling of all access, privacy, and permits.
We plan the day so it works even if weather, crowds, or conditions change. You don’t need to make hard calls on the day or worry about “what if” scenarios — those are handled in advance.
Aside from our published photography and cinematic videography, you’re supported throughout the day — not just photographed. The day is actively guided and coordinated on-site, with logistics, timing, and decisions handled as they arise. Behind the scenes, real-time support from our office team ensures everything stays on track, so nothing feels rushed, stressful, or left to chance.
